Which industries are you interested in?
Sustainability investment is one of my many areas of interest. While investment in this sector is at an all-time high, driven by global awareness and regulatory support, we are still a long way from reaching the 2030 emission target. I believe that we should try to contribute in any way we can – in my case, by investing in sound startups to speed up the development and implementation of critical technology. As the famous saying goes, “We do not inherit the earth from our ancestors; We borrow it from our children”.
What do you like most about working in Venture Capital?
I like the dynamic nature of the job. Talking to several new startups every day, the pace forces you to quickly assimilate information and shape your thoughts under time constraints. Each day is a new opportunity to meet world-class, industry-leading founders and new breakthrough technology. The work may be intense at times but you will never be bored!
