Qvin

Qvin is a women’s health company that is developing a wearable diagnostic product in the form of a feminine pad. Called the Q-pad, it collects period blood that can then be used to analyze vitamins and hormones as well as test for HPV or diabetes risk. Consumers first download the app to create a profile. Then, they use the Q-pad and send their menstrual blood to Qvin’s lab. Finally, the lab conducts its analysis and issues the findings to the app. The administration of regular, monthly blood tests could unlock new health insights that would be difficult to ascertain otherwise.
